Promoting inclusive, competitive and community lawn bowls for Deaf people

Deaf Bowls England (DeBE) is the national organisation dedicated to developing, promoting and protecting the interests of Deaf and hard‑of‑hearing bowlers across England. We organise competitions, support clubs, train officials and interpreters, and represent Deaf bowlers at national and international levels.

What we do:

  • Organise national competitions and support international representation.
  • Develop coaching, officiating and classification pathways for Deaf athletes.
  • Provide accessible communications including BSL/ISL interpretation and captioning.
  • Support clubs and volunteers with guidance, funding advice and safeguarding.
